RE:     in praise of K.A.S.S. Aquatic Survival School
Dear Richard and Rachelle,
I feel extremely passionate about the Infant Swimming Resource program and thank you both for all your hard work and efforts in bringing this program to Australian children.
As you know, I am well aware of the alarming infant drowning statistics in Australia and therefore strongly believe that young children should be taught to respect and understand the water and to rescue themselves in a drowning situation.
My daughter Tarryn’s safety is of the utmost importance to me so I wanted the safest, quickest and most professional swimming lessons for her.  I studied what was available and then choose the ISR program because of its strict safety protocols, well researched lesson formats and impressive results.
I am proud to say that thanks to her ISR lessons Tarryn has never worn “floaties”, has always had a healthy respect for the water and has been self-reliant in the water since she was 9 months old - even in heavy winter clothes and shoes.  This year, thanks to you in particular, Tarryn has developed increased confidence and a love for practicing her aquatic skills.
Richard, in my opinion you are a very talented and skillful Instructor.  Tarryn looked forward to her lessons and learnt quickly.   She would tell her friends about lessons and even invited her pre-school teacher to watch a lesson.  By the way, her pre-school teacher is involved in “Little Nippers” and was extremely impressed to see a three-year-old demonstrate the aquatic skills Tarryn performed.
I too am extremely impressed.  I am impressed at how quickly Tarryn completed her refresher program, how competent and confident she is in water and how well she has retained her aquatic survival skills.  I would not even consider putting her into any other type of “swimming” lesson.
Thank you again Richard and Rachelle, Tarryn and I are looking forward to attending lessons later in the year and hope that many other children have the opportunity benefit from your lessons.
Yours Sincerely,
Vanessa Gorman
