Dear Richard and Rachelle

Yesterday I took my three year old daughter and 6 week old baby to their grandparents house and we decided to go and feed the fish some stale bread off my parents pontoon. When a boat went by the wash caused the pontoon to rock, Tamia lost her balance and fell into the ocean. Before I could put my baby down and jump in, she had come back up to the surface, realised that she could not reach the edge, so she instinctively rolled on her back to float and continue breathing until I was able to get her out.

I know Tamia learnt these life saving skills from the ISR programme you both bought out from America.
Tamia was so proud of her achievements she couldn’t wait to show nanna what she did and once again demonstrated her skills in their pool.

At first I was very sceptical about the programme, but seeing with my own eyes what she was learning and how quick she was learning this skills took away any reservations I may have had and even though Tamia cried for a week or so during lessons she now loves and enjoys playing in the water and often cries when it’s time to get out. Tamia not only loves the water but also has a healthy respect for the water and knows not to go near water unless I am with her.

When I enrolled my daughter last year I wanted a programme that didn’t teach her how to blow bubbles and sing nursery rhymes and how to have fun in the water with floaties on, I could do that myself. I wanted something that could teach my daughter what to do if god forbids she did ever fall into a body of water. And I wanted a programme that didn’t take years to do it, after all the longer it took the longer my daughter was not safe. The 6-8 week ISR programme did all the above teaching her how to get out or stay floating by herself with no aides like floaties and goggles after all she didn’t have them on yesterday when she fell in.

Richard and Rachelle words cannot express the gratitude and thanks I have towards you both and the hard work you have both done to bring something to Australia that was urgently needed. I would recommend this programme to everyone that has a child and give it an 11 out of 10 for excellence.

Sincerely
