Dear Richard and Rochelle

My husband and I are forever appreciative of your Kids Aquatic Survival School. You both deserve nationwide recognition for your contribution to society!!! Your course should be made mandatory for all infants and toddlers as it is so successful. Anyone who discredits your school obviously feels threatened by the results.

Our son Jag, completed your course over approx. 4 weeks in Jan 2007, at the age of 4 1/2 . We moved into our new house two months prior and just happened to see your sign, driving past. We had no idea what to expect and decided to enroll Jag. We were astounded by the fact that no floatation devices were used. Yes, our son did shed some tears and being older than the average enrolled child, had a lot more understanding and a mind of his own. The first week he tried all sorts of tricks to try to get out of the lessons, including throwing up, until he realized that he would nevertheless have to continue swimming. I guess its a bit like controlled crying with babies to try to get them to sleep.

The most important statement we'd like to make is that YOUR COURSE HAS NO DOUBT SAVED OUR SON"S LIFE. Shortly after completing the programme, Jag fell fully clothed into our pool and climbed out with ease. This incident made us realize that he had learned your basic survival skills. A week later I actually threw him into the middle of the pool, into a section over six foot in depth, and again, he swam to the edge.

We have been so impressed with your swimming school, that we have continued private stroke lessons. Jag feels very comfortable and safe with Richard as his swimming instructor. As a result, Jag's favourite game in the pool is jumping in and diving (with goggles) down to the bottom, to collect leaves.

Thank you Richard and Rochelle for turning our son into a little "fish".
