Dear Parent /Grandparent / Guardian
Childhood drowning is a constant
reminder in our family. My brother-in-law drowned in a neighbours backyard
pool when he was two years old. Do not take the attitude "it would not
happen to me". There is no cost you can put on a child's life.
When I first heard about KASS I was very
interested, but at the same time sceptical about the programs promised
survival skills taught in such a short time. So I decided to watch a lesson,
and had a list of questions which instructor Richard Beesley answered to my
complete satisfaction. After watching a lesson my jaw dropped I was so
impressed and enrolled my two year old daughter Tamia immediately.
After completing the program Tamia now
knows to look for a safe place to swim to (steps, edge of pool etc.), and
get there by dog paddling turning on her back to rest and breath then dog
paddle to safety without floatation. She enjoys swimming so much more and
loves showing of her skills to family and friends who cannot believe what
they see.
Richard and his wife Rachelle were very
friendly and provided a comfortable and relaxed environment. Richard was
fantastic with my daughter and has a great rapport with children. I highly
recommend the KASS program to every parent, a definite 10 out of 10 for
excellence, a program definitely required in Australia.
Sincerely
Danielle Giardini
